Okta Learning produces educational content at scale across teams, regions and time zones. And like most things that grow organically, parts of the system made sense… and parts made sense only to the person who created them. Some guidelines existed. Some templates existed. Some workflows existed. Just not always together. My role was to clean it up and design something that actually works. I built a practical content system combining writing structure, visual styling, motion standards, typography rules and file organization – plus reusable templates so teams wouldn’t have to reinvent everything every time they opened a new file. The goal wasn’t to add more rules. It was to remove friction and make consistency the default. Today, the system is used by multiple teams across the organization globally, helping standardize production while still leaving room for flexibility. Less guessing. Fewer “which version is final?” moments. More cohesive learning experiences.
