Racing League Motion Identity

B2SIM

2024-2025

Overview

B2SIM is a corporate sim racing league where companies form teams and compete across full racing seasons. The core brand was already there – my role was to build the motion system and video layer that made it feel like real racing on screen. The goal was simple: if it’s motorsport, it shouldn’t move like a PowerPoint. It had to feel fast and sharp, yet structured enough to work across live streams, social clips and event coverage. I built a modular motion language focused on speed and clarity, designed to scale rather than exist as one-off animations. Alongside that, I shaped the sonic direction used in video content – because if it looks like racing, it should sound like it too. As the league grew, the visual and motion layer helped elevate its presence beyond a typical corporate initiative. The project attracted television interest for event broadcasts and is now in its third season, supported by major industry partners and professional motorsport commentators. At some point, it stopped feeling like a “company benefit” and started feeling like a real competition.
